I recently visited Seattle, Washington for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed the blend of art, nature, and food. Here's a glimpse at my weekend in Seattle: Keith Haring Exhibit at the Museum of Pop Culture Just before my trip, I decided to google "Keith Haring Seattle" to see if there were any public art pieces or current exhibitions by the iconic artist. Lucky for me, my trip just so happened to coincide with the last days of "Keith Haring: A Radiant Legacy" at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP). This exhibition showcased over 240 artworks and objects, delving into Haring's career and activism. There were a lot of examples of his iconic symbols, but there were a few collections of lesser known pieces that I really enjoyed. Snoqualmie Falls
Ferry to Bainbridge Island My boss recommended experiencing the ferry to Bainbridge Island. We drove our rental car onto the ferry and looked back at Seattle from the water. The 35-minute journey offered great views of the city skyline. Once we got on the island, we went to The Harbour Public House for beer, snacks and oyster shots. Coffee at D'La Santa ![]() Everywhere we went in Seattle had fantastic coffee. My favorite stop was at D'La Santa. We went to have brunch and arrived shortly before they opened. We waited in the car until we saw a line forming. Once inside, it was clear why the place was so popular. The space was beautiful and featured a tree in the center. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed fresh pastries along with our brunch. Seattle offered a great combination of art, nature, and food. I had a lot of fun experiences over the weekend and enjoyed seeing public art throughout the city. Here were some of my favorites:
