​Bio

​My name is Jordan DeWilde. I am currently the Community Engagement Officer for the Rockford Area Arts Council.

​I oversee our youth programs and work closely with the Executive Director on the Rockford Region Cultural Plan.
​
​I was a K-12 art teacher for over 12 years. ​My work has been recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois Art Education Association, and the Lowell Milken Education Center. ​I share curriculum ideas on social media with educators all over the world. 

I am a published author. ​I wrote my first book in 2021 titled, 30-Minute Drawing for Beginners. ​The second is titled, Daily Drawing Prompts: A Year of Sketchbook Inspiration.

​I developed and filmed the children's drawing program, Jump into Drawing! with NBCUniversal's Bluprint, now Craftsy.​
